Guest speaker Alex York talks about his work with finding the network of Roman roads in the area and associated finds. This is Alex’s story into how he became involved with finding the sections of Roman Roads in Cheshire. Also include updates on current work and findings…

This event also links into ‘Roman Guides Training’ for those who wish to become volunteer guides for the Town. The talks above form a basic knowledge of Roman occupation in Middlewich which will be built upon during 3 training days in August, (Possibly 15th, 16th and 18th but will need to confirm this).
