Nantwich Museum Research Group visit

Members of Nantwich Museum’s Research Group recently enjoyed an introduction to the restored Murgatroyd Brine Pumps at Middlewich by Heritage Officer, Kerry Kirwan and her team of volunteers. The group were able to view and were impressed by the, now unique, “nodding donkey” wild brine pumps. Restoration of the pumps is a remarkable achievement.

The site offers the prospect of a valuable heritage resource for generations to come.
