The site was weeks away from opening for its first full visitor season when Covid struck so, instead of greeting guests, we had to make a plan B and quickly.
Volunteers and contractors are back at work after lockdown. Working on site is undertaken whilst observing the requirements of social distancing!
Murgatroyd’s brine pumps continues its restoration through these difficult times with the help of volunteers. Week by week, and piece by piece, the former brine pumps again become a hive of activity.
